Audio Technica AT6012 Record Care Kit - Includes Record Care Solution, Brush Pad, Storage Base and Adhesive Tape

Audio Technica AT6012 Record Care Kit - Includes Record Care Solution, Brush Pad, Storage Base and Adhesive Tape Reviews

The brush in this kit has two holes in the top which are for pouring the cleaning solution into. The solution is then spread out evenly to dampen the brush. It works well for removing dust and set in stains from dirt. However, the brush is pretty soft and gentle. I don't think it would work too well on records that have a lot of paper stuck in them. The first record I used it on came out shiny and sounded much clearer. Static, clicks and pops were virtually eliminated. The only con I can think of is that you don't get a lot of solution in this kit. The bottle is good for maybe 50-100 records at most. If you plan to do more than that you'll need a refill or replacement.

Audio Technica AT6012 Record Care Kit - Includes Record Care Solution, Brush Pad, Storage Base and Adhesive Tape Feature

• Protects your valuable records
• Removes dust and dirt from record surface with out scratching
• This item is not for sale in Catalina Island

Take care of your record collection with the AT6012 care kit. The AT6012 compiles everything that you would need to maintain your record collection in one convenient package.

Works well, good quality - S. Hoover - North Carolina
Got a lot of dust off my old LPs. Not quite as nice as my old Discwasher. I went with this one because the reviewsbr /on the new Discwasher were not too good. I only wish it came with more fluid-I will run out quickly. I plan to findbr /a recipe for cleaning fluid as all the makers of this stuff are so overpriced-seems like I could make a couple gallons for their price on a few ounces. I've found one recipe so far that is just 50:50 rubbing alcohol and water...any other recipes out there?

Best out there - Al Errico - Aurora, IL
This AT cleaning brush and fluid is actually better than the one I had in the 70's the brush is bigger and has more grooves and the fluid is the same. Since they now make the discwasher in china and it is terrible this is the solution for the average listener. I am Very pleased. The bottle is a little hard to open right and if you open it wrong you have to hold the cap on or tape it. No big deal.
