TCC TC-720 Stereo Microphone/RIAA Phono Pre-Amp, Preamp (Preamplifier)

TCC TC-720 Stereo Microphone/RIAA Phono Pre-Amp, Preamp (Preamplifier) Feature

• 12 volt DC operation; will work anywhere in the world
• Includes AC adaptor, RCA cable and miniplug adaptor
• Ground wire terminal, power indicator; gold plated jacks and black anodized metal casing
• Switchable RCA phono or 1/4" microphone inputs; switchable for condensor or dynamic mikes
• RIAA freq response 20hz-20,000hz +/- 0.5dB, S/N ratio 75dB

This preamp features stellar phono specs and performance, then adds on top of that the ability to also accept two microphones, either electret (condensor) or dynamic, to allow stereo live recording. These mike inputs are MUCH better than the ones found on most PC sound cards, because not only do they provide a superior signal-to-noise ratio, they work properly with dynamic mikes and musical instrument pickups which do not require a bias voltage (sound card mike inputs generally will not work properly with these, resulting in very poor reproduction). Classy retail packaging makes this a super gift choice for the budding musician or recording enthusiast....
